2004 Contest: 'What Can You Build With a 2X4?'

Each item shown was built using a single 8' construction stud. Grand prize was a $500 scholarship to the American Sycamore school. Other prizes included $50 cash from Roto-Hinge (Stone Belt Arc), a mobile base from Winner Woodworking, a saw blade from Woods Work, cabinet doors from the Door Store, and lumber assortments from Frank Miller Lumber and from member Lloyd Ebert. Members placed tokens in cups you see in the pictures to cast votes for their pick. Winners, along with more pictures, are listed in the September newsletter (pdf file).
